Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Day 2

Not feeling well, so we spent an "easy day" at the Dubai Mall.

In regard to the mall's "resident dinosaur":  It was discovered in 2008—not in Dubai, but in Wyoming, USA. The creature (80 feet long by 25 feet tall) is a whip-tailed sauropod that is over 155 million years old.  The signage says:

“No comparable exhibit with nearly all bones completing the skeleton, exists elsewhere.”

This statement may or may not be an exaggeration. I wouldn't be surprised if it were.

The city - big, brash, boastful Dubai--is itself the epitome of exaggeration!
